🌈Whoo hooo!Congratulations on getting to the other side. I can’t even imagine the discipline it took to do 1 let alone 3 sessions of dry fasting. 💪 You are a rockstar. Enjoy trusting your body and this wonderful new normal. Thanks for your transparency and courage to share your journey.
To be honest, I don't credit the dry fasting as "the thing" that got me well. I relapsed badly after all the fasts and now eat three meals a day (only in reverse of most people-- biggest meals early, soup or veggies for dinner). But I think the commitment to wellness continues to be key. The commitment not to give up while I still have breath in me. My cousin, 12 days my senior, died last Friday. In her honor, I need to celebrate every minute I'm standing upright. More joy! More music! More friends! More life! And if, god forbid, I do relapse, to try more.
Congratulations, and thank you! It is so tough dealing with chronic debilitating situations that don't respond to traditional medicine. It takes tremendous strength to find the creativity and the fortitude to keep trying new things when one is living in the trough. I'm so glad you're feeling better and I so relate to your comment about the quantum power of trusting our bodies to repair.
Brilliant discussion and great news, Isabel! I've been practicing Vedic Meditation for 12 years. It has been a game-changer, especially for anxiety, trust, and safety. What they say about meditation rings true for me, and I am forever grateful for this consciousness-expanding tool. It's easier than you think, and the guidance of a class is tremendously helpful for those who are curious. Thom Knowles is my guy, but there is certainly more than one path to peace. Thanks for the recommendation, Lisa. I'm a huge fan of meditation. In fact, meditation and yoga are the true cornerstones of my wellness regime. I look forward to learned more both with and from you, my friend.
Of course I like it! I love it! You worked so hard on this journey; took many risks spiritually, emotionally and physically! I am an awe of you, your courage and discipline!!!Hugs!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
This is such great news that you are on the other side and learning to trust again. I plan to keep being one of those positive forces in your life. Wishing you an uneventful 2026 (health wise) and an expansive year in every other way!

The sky IS big. Trust (acceptance & surrender) are life long practices that happen one day at a time (or one hour at a….). Well done sis. 🌈♥️🌹🏆
